Okay so part one of the 511 project is officially out on the internet! We’ve got our 511 drilled and tapped, installed a EGW rail and got it mounted up with a beautiful Lyman 10X SL. Though this series will mostly focus on the thesis: “Can you make a cheap old .22LR a match rifle” this should also serve a solid test for the 10X SL. I’m very excited to see if some modest upgrades to this rifle will produce a sub MOA accurate rifle. Once this test is completed this should serve as a very nice platform for testing and showcasing a variety of vintage optics from throughout the years. If you want to follow along on the 511 project and get some more color on the upgrades we’ve done be sure to check out the video Here.
Thanks for watching and reading and we look forward to sharing our findings!
